Use the Sonnet Tempo SATA E2P to connect up to two external eSATA hard drives to your PCI Express equipped computer.  Or through its support of port multipliers on the eSATA ports—the two ports can handle up to ten hard drives*!  Used with high-performance drive enclosures like the Sonnet Fusion 500P Enclosure or this 5-Bay SATA Port Multiplier Enclosure, this card can manage the data flow of up to five drives in one enclosure through a single cable. Using high capacity 500GB drives, you can connect an astounding 5 Terabytes (5,000 Gigabytes!) of striped RAID storage!

When using an enclosure without a port multiplier (such as this SATA II 2 Drive Hot-Swap RAID Enclosure), the Sonnet Tempo SATA E2P will support up to 2 drives.
