The HighPoint RocketRAID 1544 is a 4-channel External Serial ATA (e.SATA) RAID host adapter. The 4 channels can be used independently, or combined to support a variety of single-disk and RAID configurations. The external channels are ideal for removable storage and backup applications, and are designed for use with
SATA external disk enclosures.
